Ferland Woodworking
Co., Inc.
Ferland Woodworking Co., Inc., a family-owned business since 1951,
was founded by Lucien E. Collamati and ran under this name, Collamati
Woodworking Co., Inc., for 37 years. In 1988, Moe Ferland and his
wife, Anne (Collamati) Ferland, took over the business and changed
the name to Ferland Woodworking Co., Inc.
Ferland Woodworking
designs and produces fine furniture, cabinets, millwork, restoration,
reproductions, and specialty store fixtures, Their motto, "If it's
made of wood, we'll make it," leaves no question to their creative
capabilities as craftsmen.
Chris Ferland,
one of the owners' two sons, can make dreams a reality with his
design techniques and drawings. Chris began his design training
at Woonsocket Vocational Technical School and later graduated from
the New England Technical Institute in Providence, RI.
Nick Ferland,
the owners' second son, is equally gifted in his abilities to craft
fine wood pieces. Nick oversees production in the woodworking shop
and applies particular care to the quality that is maintained in
the operation.
The Ferland
family is proud to be the second and third generation to carry on
the manufacturing of fine, quality woodworking from the facilities
located at 1271 Pulaski Blvd., South Bellingham, MA. Ferland Woodworking
is a member of the Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Wood Products
Manufacturing Association (WPMA).
